Michele completed her teacher training through the N.C. School of Yoga in 2003 and has been teaching Gentle Yoga since 2003. As a self-described "Type A" personality who understands the inclination to always "Go go go!" "Do more!" "Push harder!", Michele has found gentle yoga to be a great way to create some balance in her life. Her intention for her class is to create an atmosphere where every student feels safe and where self-care is always encouraged. Students are given options in each pose so they can make mindful choices regarding what is right for their bodies at this moment (regardless of what anyone else is doing!). Classes tend to be "low to the mat" and to include lots of long, luxurious, stretch-y poses.
